RIDE: Lifeskills and Drug Awareness

Specific training in qualities of Character continues in the RIDE programme, which is a specific programme aimed at providing a structured teaching approach to inform and equip our students in this important area. The programme, which originated at Claremont, helps to educate children from as young as 7 years old and has been adopted by schools nationwide.


Launch of RIDE ‘Choice’ Programme in June 2005 with pupils from Claremont, Bob Quick, Chief Constable of Surrey, Sally Dowler from Milly’s Fund, Mr Mark Jackman, the Head of Rydens School and Gordon Hunt, co-founder of the RIDE Foundation who retired as Head of Claremont last summer
